With the perks in conjuration that increase its damage and allow it to soul trap, in conjunction with Marksman potions and various poisons. the damage output is insane and easily make up for not being able to improve it via smiting or enchanting.

It has zero weight, fastest draw speed, hits as hard as Legendary improved Daedric bow. I like that you can "hold" the spell in one hand while having something in the other hand. The magicka cost at 100 skill is 41 less than the base cost the cost can also be reduced via enchanted apparel and by unlocking various perks. but that atronach is going to die and have to be resummoned often on Legendary and it costs waaaaaay more magika.

meaning a lot more investment into your Magicka pool or enchanting for reduced conjuration spell costs or several more perks invested into conjuration. I like that Bound Bow is better for close quarters than any of the stealth archer bows I've crafted. its much faster for clearing the many, many dungeons of skyrim. I just drink a fortify marksman potion and toss on a poison. Actually the both last for 120 seconds and with the mystic binding per and having the bow skill (bows do 100 more damage) it can do 48 damage not to mention with each lvl of archery the amount of damage done with a bow goes up by 0.8 so for a grand total of 180 normal damage or simply 67 damage. Do I want to hit twice as hard for hp damage. or a warriors stamina? Or maybe just paralyze everyone and have them all laying on the ground, unable to fight back? You can craft poisons and potions that would allow you to easily one shot anything in the game. if you're really hell bent on breaking the game, you can exploit crafting to put ridiculous amounts of fortify archery on your armor. which would take the place of the destruction spell cost reduction most enchanted weapon users would want.

But that's a moot point when you can still one shot anything in the game. If you wish to conjure Daedric weapons in the Atronach Forge, then you need to reach conjuring Level 90. The only criticism I have for Bound Bow is that it's range is substantially shorter than an actual Daedric or Dragonbone bow. But I generally don't have the need to kill something from a mile away, close quarters combat is much more frequent.
