According to the corresponding trailer, Lawbringers’ armor is stronger than any other hero we’ll see in For Honor and their choice of weapon gives them a bit more attack range than you might expect from a tank. We also met the Lawbringers this week, the poleaxe carrying, heavily-armored enforcers who fight on behalf of the Knights. The trailer also shows a Valkyrie wielding a warhorn, suggesting they may be capable of buffing friendly units. Valkyries will carry a small shield and spear into battle and serve as the Vikings’ scout class. Things won’t be quite that heavy in For Honor. Over time, they’d bring enough honor to the fallen to earn admittance to Valhalla. According to Norse legend, Valkyries fought on behalf of those who weren’t “fortunate” enough to die in battle. And it must be Spear Week at Ubisoft HQ because we’re looking at two more classes that rely on long, pointy melee weapons to stop their opponent.įirst up were the Valkyries, female warriors who fought for one of the most war-minded societies in human history, the Vikings.

That should pack a heavy wallop all on its own.The last two trailers in For Honor’s Hero Series are out now, spotlighting members of the Viking and Knight factions, rounding out a 12-part collection intended to familiarize fans with the full For Honor roster before the game hits PC and consoles on Valentine’s Day. You can also pull off the Judge, Jury & Executioner combo, which is comprised of a Light Attack, Heavy Attack and another Heavy Attack, with the final Heavy Attack there being unblockable. You'd want to hit an enemy with a Stunning Top-Heavy attack and then turn around to hit 'em with a particular combo. You can use this in tandem with other attacks that are meant to follow up to bring the pain. Lawbringers also use Stunning Top-Heavy attacks, which means hitting any enemy with any attack that could be considered "top heavy" (high stance heavy attacks) will stun them. The key to mastering the Lawbringer is learning to use a perfect parry and then hitting back at the enemy with all of your energy. VG247 and RankedBoost both offer a detailed rundown of the unique abilities the Lawbringer brings to For Honor.
